Leandrea “LA” Owens is an author, visionary entrepreneur, and Operations & Marketing Director, K.C. Legacy Events, LLC.  As a brand strategist with more than 16 years of experience in entrepreneurial marketing, business development, and consumer engagement, Leandrea has the skills necessary for this role.  Specializing in the home improvement industry for over nine years as a Marketing Director, she has led strategic marketing initiatives focused on brand positioning, client acquisition, relationship management, and business growth within competitive markets. Her expertise reflects a strong foundation in integrated marketing communications, experiential branding, and strategic development.

 

With studies in Criminal Justice, Leandrea combines analytical thinking with a deep understanding of human behavior, communication, and leadership. Her professional background also includes accounting and financial operations, giving her a well-rounded approach to business strategy and organizational management.

 

As a former lifestyle boutique owner for five years, she curated a luxury shopping experience featuring recognized brands such as Hotel Collection and Black Girl Vitamins, while also launching her own signature luxury candle brand, “Penthouse.” Expanding beyond lifestyle retail, she also created featured all-natural skincare products designed to support individuals with troubled skin, along with premium beard oils crafted specifically for men's grooming and self-care. Her boutique became known for blending elevated lifestyle products, wellness, and intentional branding into a sophisticated customer experience.

Today, as Director of K.C. Legacy Events LLC, Leandrea continues to lead with purpose, professionalism, and innovation — curating impactful experiences designed to inspire others to operate from a standard of excellence while creating meaningful community and cultural impact.
